Business documents must be accurate. So, Ive proofread all my working life. First, I proofread all the IT feasibility, requirements specifications, and related documents such as risk or changelogs when I was a business analyst programmer at BAe. As I moved on, I became a principal consultant and project director in blue chip consultancies, where I created and proofread our responses to sales enquiries, ITTs, and the wide variety of reports we delivered to our clients.

Can you proofread and edit contracts, marketing material, websites or articles and notice issues?
Provided everything comes as a Word document or I can convert it to one, yes, I can. I've produced many different types of IT specifications, negotiated contracts, had marketing training with Jay Abraham, and as part of my MSc in Management Sciences. I was also a business newspaper editor.
Do you proofread and edit business books?
Accurate proofreading and editing were vital when I was in consultancy with Cap Gemini and Northgate IS. I created and proofread thousands of words in reports. I've also written a business book and edited a wide range of others books, including course material and software manuals.
Do you do all the proofreading and editing yourself?
Yes, I am too much of a stickler for details to ask other Fiverrs to do the proofreading and editing for me.
Can you proofread and edit translated business documents?
Yes, usually I can. Sometimes if it's a highly technical document I may need to ask you a question about it if some of the language used doesn't make sense. The best thing to do is to send me a copy so I can review it and see what a fair gig offer is to edit it for you.
Do you rewrite documents?
When I edit I'm usually correcting an awkward sentence. I don't offer to rewrite through this gig as rewriting a business document can be a mammoth undertaking. The other thing about rewriting is that the document will have my voice and no longer have yours.
Do you format documents for publication or to a style?
I don't do formatting as I specialize in proofreading and copyediting. I don't format documents as there are so many different ways of doing it. Fiverr has people who are able to format your content for you, although I've not used anyone to do so myself.
