I will copy edit your short story or novella

I will copy edit for grammar, sentence structure, cohesion, flow, and sensitivity issues. For each change I make, I will offer a 2-3 sentence explanation for why I think it should be made, and what other options you have if you wish to take the piece in a different direction. I will also provide you a written evaluation concerning any plot holes, pacing, or character development issues I noticed while reading your piece.

What is Copy Editing?

• Copy editing is when an editor goes through your written work line by line, cleaning up your sentences and the overall structure of the piece.
• It is a much more in-depth process than proofreading (only a light skim for grammar or formatting issues) and can completely transform a piece of writing.
• Any rewriting done in copy editing will be for cleaning up sentence structure only. I will not be changing major plot points, only providing detailed feedback about my suggestions for how to make them more cohesive.
