I am building StaunchDMS, a document management system for vessel management. Its scope covers certificate lifecycle tracking, month-end reports and a knowledge bank. I use the same building blocks here.

FAQ
Which file types and languages does the OCR handle?
Scanned PDFs, PNG and JPG. English is the default. Other languages supported by Tesseract can be added if you send samples. Handwriting is not supported.
How accurate is the OCR and field extraction?
It depends on scan quality. I test on your sample documents and send a field-by-field result report. I do not promise 100 percent. Poor scans can be flagged for manual review in the app.
Do I need to share confidential documents?
No. Send samples you are allowed to share, or redact them. I can also build and test with synthetic samples. I do not need access to your live data to start.
Can it sign in with Microsoft accounts and use roles?
Yes. I can add Microsoft Entra ID sign-in. Roles and permissions are kept in the app database, with default-deny access. Role-based access is included in Premium.
Do I get the source code, and can you help deploy it?
Yes, you get the full source code and a setup guide. I can help deploy to your server or cloud after we agree the target environment. Hosting costs are yours.
