I will build a headless shopify storefront with nuxt js, next js or hydrogen

About this gig
Your Shopify theme is slow, looks like every other store, or can't do what you need? Go headless.
I build custom Shopify storefronts with Nuxt (Vue) or Next.js (React), connected to Shopify through the Storefront API. Shopify keeps running your products, inventory, orders and checkout. Your customers get a fast, fully custom store.
What you get:
- Any design, no theme limits
- Server-rendered pages for speed and SEO (sitemaps, meta, rich previews)
- Collections, filters, search, product pages and cart
- Checkout handled by Shopify, so payments and apps keep working
- Content pages, blog or metafield-driven sections
- Deployed on Vercel, Netlify or your own server, with the full source code
Why me: 8+ years as a full-stack developer, with Nuxt and Vue as my main stack. I've built a complete headless Nuxt 4 storefront and Shopify app integrations (orders, inventory, webhooks) for my own commerce SaaS.
Not sure if headless is right for you? Message me your store URL and I'll tell you honestly.

FAQ
Do I have to leave Shopify?
No. Shopify still runs your products, inventory, orders, payments and checkout. Only the storefront your customers browse is custom-built.
Will my Shopify apps still work?
Checkout, payments and back-office apps keep working. Apps that inject into your theme (reviews, upsells, popups) need their API or a replacement. I check each one before we start.
Nuxt, Next.js or Hydrogen: which should I choose?
Nuxt (Vue) is my main stack. Next.js suits teams that know React. Hydrogen is Shopify's own React framework hosted on Oxygen. I'll recommend one based on your team and hosting.
Is headless good for SEO?
Yes. Pages are server-rendered with proper meta tags, sitemaps and structured data, and they load fast, which helps Core Web Vitals and rankings.
Where is it hosted and what does hosting cost?
Vercel, Netlify or your own server. Many stores fit free or low-cost tiers. You own the hosting account and get the full source code.
Is headless right for my store?
It suits stores that have outgrown their theme or need a custom experience. If a simple theme change would solve your problem, I'll tell you before you order.
