Hi, everyone! I'm a certified native Japanese teacher from Osaka, Japan. I have 10 years of experience teaching Japanese, having worked at a language school as well as on government-commissioned projects.
I graduated from a university in Kyoto with a minor in Teaching Japanese as a Second Language. You can check the FAQ to learn more about my lessons!
My original grammar lessons are clear and precise, and I'm confident I can make learning Japanese easier and more effective than you ever imagined. I also provide all the PDF materials, so you won't need to prepare anything on your side.

What is unique about your Japanese lesson?
I can answer any type of question, ensuring our lessons are highly efficient without taking up much of your time. Additionally, I deeply care about social issues and justice. I won't ask anything that might offend you. If there is anything you want me to know beforehand, please inform me!
I am a complete beginner. Is that okay?
Yes! Many of my students are complete beginners. I strongly believe that making mistakes is the most important aspect of the learning process. Don't worry about making mistakes, and I will never judge anyone!
I studied Japanese before, but I don't know my Japanese level, and I'm not sure where to start.
I have a list of JLPT grammar that I made, so we can check your level together and figure out which grammar you're not familiar with. This way, you won't miss any points before moving to the next level
Do you teach kids?
Yes, I'm currently teaching eight kids, ranging in age from 8 to 16. However, there is a condition, so please contact me beforehand. I teach kids the same way as I teach adult students.
Can I have a lesson without a camera?
Of course! If you feel more comfortable without a camera, no problem for me. I respect your choice!
Do I need to buy textbooks or anything?
I have everything you need, and I will send you all the necessary materials, so you don't need to buy anything. Of course, if you want to buy, you can! If you prefer to use a specific textbook like Minna no Nihongo or Genki, let me know!
Animal companion are welcome to our lesson! 🐶🐱🐰
You don't have to put your animals in another room! I love animals so much so they don't bother me at all. You can have lessons with your animal companion(s) if you want🐶🐱🐰 I also have a pet-sitting certificate, and sometimes I help people living around my area.

Do you use a microphone?
Yes, I am using a Rode PodMic USB, so you will have the best quality of the sounds.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your lessons, but please let me know in advance so we can reschedule. If you inform me only a few hours before the lesson, I will need to charge the lesson fee.
