I edit short films and scripted scenes, with attention to performance, continuity and pacing.
I'm a Montreal-based SAE Bachelor of Film graduate working in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. My background includes directing and screenwriting, so I approach the edit with the scene's purpose in mind.
Each package includes picture editing, simple opening or end titles, basic audio level balancing and basic colour correction for exposure, white balance and consistency. You'll receive one final video in the agreed format.
These packages cover organised footage and a clear script or brief. Please message me with your footage length, target runtime, script and deadline before ordering. TV scenes, web series and longer projects can be discussed through a custom offer.
I don't provide motion graphics, VFX, advanced sound work or colour grading. Music and other supplied assets must be cleared for your intended use.
Revisions cover changes within the agreed brief. New footage, a new direction or a longer film may need a separate quote.

I'm Karan, a video editor based in Montreal. I work in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, editing narrative scenes, promotional videos and YouTube content. My background in writing, directing and producing helps me think about the story as well as the cut. I hold a Bachelor of Film from SAE University College, where I studied in Dubai and Melbourne. I offer picture editing, simple titles, basic audio balancing and colour correction. Send me a brief and a sample of your footage so we can agree on the scope before you order.
FAQ
What sound and colour work is included?
Basic dialogue and music level balancing, simple fades, exposure and white balance adjustments. Detailed dialogue repair, sound design, advanced grading, motion graphics and VFX are not included.
What counts as a revision?
One consolidated set of notes within the agreed brief and runtime. New footage, a new script or a substantially different direction needs a new quote. Please use timecodes in your notes.
Can you edit TV or web-series material?
Scripted scenes and independently produced episodes can be discussed. Send the script, footage details and delivery needs first. Broadcast mastering, network compliance and specialist finishing are not included.
What do I need to supply?
Organised footage, a script or outline, your target runtime, references, simple title text and any music or graphics. You must have permission to use all supplied assets. Complex or unsynced footage may need a custom quote.
Are editable project files included?
Standard delivery is one finished video in the agreed format. If you need the Premiere Pro or Resolve project, mention it before ordering so we can agree on the handoff.
