About this Gig
Planning a UK road trip but not sure where to start? I've personally driven this circular route and will create a detailed, day-by-day itinerary tailored to your travel style and interests.
The itinerary covers the best of rural Britain: starting in London, heading southwest through Bath, Cornwall and Devon, then looping north through the Cotswolds, Pembrokeshire, Snowdonia and finishing in the Lake District before returning to London.
This is a self-drive trip. Accommodation recommendations are for comfortable hotels (typically £150-200/night). A London extension is available on all tiers.
Best time to visit: May, June and September. You'll avoid summer crowds and parking nightmares and trust me, parking is a real challenge at popular hiking spots. Start hikes before 10am or you risk missing a space. July and August get extremely busy.
What you won't get is a generic copy-paste itinerary. This is built from real experience on the road.

FAQ
Do you book accommodation and activities for me?
No, bookings are made independently by you. I provide detailed recommendations with direct links and practical guidance.
Is driving on the left difficult for continental European drivers?
It's easier than you'd expect! The main challenges are narrow country lanes in Cornwall and Wales, and finding parking at popular hiking spots. I include practical tips for both in the itinerary.
What is the best time to visit?
May, June and September are ideal — good weather, manageable crowds and parking. July and August are peak season with significantly busier roads and parking becoming a real issue at popular spots.
What is Skomer Island and is it worth it?
Skomer Island is a wildlife reserve off the Pembrokeshire coast and one of the best places in the world to see puffins up close. It's absolutely worth it — but book months in advance as spaces are extremely limited. If you miss out, a boat tour around the island is a good alternative.
Can I add London to the itinerary?
Yes, a London extension is available on all tiers. Just let me know when ordering.
Is Mt Snowdon worth climbing?
Absolutely — it's one of the highlights of the Welsh leg. You can hike up and take the mountain railway down, or vice versa. Just be prepared for unpredictable weather even in May!
