About this gig

Some work does not belong in a browser. A tool that watches a folder, talks to hardware over a serial port, holds a local database, or has to keep running when the network drops, needs to live on the machine.


I build those. PySide6 and Tkinter for Python, Swift for native macOS, Electron when the interface has to match an existing web product. What you get is an installer your team can double click, not a repository with a readme full of prerequisites.


The interfaces I build are made for people who are not developers. The three or four things you do every day sit at the top as large labelled buttons. Advanced settings collapse out of the way. Anything destructive asks first.


Recent work includes a desktop assistant with speech input, a screen recorder with an automation layer, and a control panel for a robot that talks to firmware over serial.
