Can you fix books that are months or years behind?
Yes. I review the periods, accounts, transaction volume and last reconciliations before confirming a cleanup plan. I correct supported categorization errors, duplicates, transfers and reconciliation discrepancies within the agreed scope.
What will I receive, and what is included?
You receive updated QuickBooks records, profit and loss, balance sheet and reconciliation reports, plus a change summary and outstanding-items list. Each package covers one entity within its month, account and total transaction limits.
Does this include my business tax return?
This gig covers bookkeeping for tax preparation. Form 1040, Schedule C, 1065, 1120S and 990-series preparation are separate services. Your quote will identify any tax work and who submits the return.
How do I share records and QuickBooks access?
Invite me through QuickBooks user permissions and provide statements, exports and supporting records through the agreed secure channel. Keep your login, bank credentials and verification codes private.
What if records or opening balances are missing?
I identify missing records and explain their effect on your reports. Unsupported items remain on an outstanding-items list until resolved. Additional reconstruction needs a revised quote. Monthly bookkeeping can follow after cleanup.
