I will coach you to build a writing habit and start your manuscript
Empowering others to shine
About this Gig
I help people in their 40s, 50s, and beyond finally start writing.
Maybe you've been meaning to write a memoir, a book, or just fill a journal but life keeps getting in the way, or you don't know where to begin.
I can help you with that.
We'll work together to build a simple writing habit that fits your real life, clear the mental blocks that have kept you stuck, and get words on the page maybe for the first time in years.
No writing experience needed. No big time commitment. Just a proven system and someone in your corner.
Here's what we do:
Pick a session that works for you. We meet on video. I give you a simple plan, a writing ritual, and prompts you can start using that same day.
That's it.
This is for you if:
- You've always wanted to write but never started
- You start and stop and can't seem to stick with it
This is not for you if:
- You're looking for someone to write it for you
- You want advanced editing or publishing advice
Ready to write? Let's start with one session and see what opens up.
FAQ
Do I need to have a book idea already?
Not at all. Many clients come to me with only a feeling — a sense that there is something they need to write. Part of our work together is uncovering what that is. We start where you are.
I have tried to build a writing habit before and failed. Will this be different?
Yes — because we will not rely on willpower. Using Atomic Habits principles, we design a system that makes writing the path of least resistance. The goal is not discipline. It is removing the friction.
Do I need to have read The Artist's Way or Atomic Habits?
No prior reading required. I weave the relevant ideas directly into our sessions. That said, if you want to read alongside our work, I will share which chapters are most relevant for you.
Is this for memoir only, or other writing too?
All writing. Memoir, fiction, essays, a blog, poetry, a business book — if it lives inside you and wants to get out, we can work with it. The habit and identity frameworks apply to any writing life.
