Premananda (Shiva Basyal), founder of Kathmandu Yoga, is a pioneering Nepalese yoga master with 29 years of experience. He holds an M.A. in Yoga Psychology from Bihar Yoga Bharati, India and is Nepal's first registered instructor. A Karma Sannyasin initiate of the Bihar Yoga tradition, he applies yogic expertise in health and education for government agencies, INGOs, NGOs, and the private sectors (including British Embassy in Kathmandu, Home Ministry, Nepal Govt, UNDP, Save the Children, Cornell Nepal Study Program etc). He also holds an M.A. in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu.
