Hi! I'm Katie and I'm a publishing professional with extensive experience in the editorial sector. I have the skills and qualifications to ensure that your book is refined and improved to a professional standard, and I would love to be the editor and/or proofreader of your next literary or non-fiction project!

What I offer: 

• Line-editing with additional proofreading.
• A marked-up version of your manuscript with comments and corrections highlighting mistakes and/or inconsistencies in: spelling, grammar, punctuation, word choice and syntax (sentence structure).
• This will also include fact-checking (dates, place names, specific terminology or jargon).
• I follow a style guide, either one provided by the author or the Oxford Style Guide (UK)/Chicago Manual of Style (US), to ensure consistency.

Please note: I edit on Word and do not edit manuscripts that have already been formatted/typeset for publication.
