Hi, my name is Kenneth. I am an award-winning author, editor, and sensitivity reader for your LGBTQIA+ book/short story. My primary experience is in MG, YA, NA, comedy, rom-com, romance, horror, sci-fi, paranormal, fantasy, and mystery. I am probably NOT the best fit for EPIC fantasy stories (GoT, LoTR, etc) or anything D&D-based or related to other RPGs.
I've been active in the LGBTQIA+ community for over 25 years. I have an advanced degree in and study related to sex, sexuality, and gender identity and expression. I have written and published LGBTQIA+ content (fiction and nonfiction). If you're writing characters or storylines that have LGBTQIA+ content and you'd like someone to make sure it makes sense and isn't offensive or stereotypical, let me help you!
**Please note, this isn't a Beta Reading, so while I WILL comment on other things, I am mainly focusing on LGBTQ+ content, themes, and issues in your work. I do offer beta reading for LGBTQ books however if that's what you are actually looking for, you can find that in my other gigs.

What if the LGBTQ content is only in part of the story?
I have another gig for LGBTQ Sensitivity Reading for Scenes and Short Stories that might be a better fit. This starts at 5000 words and is ideal for those who maybe only have a few scenes that need to be looked over.
Do you do line editing, copy editing, or developmental editing?
I do have a separate gig for developmental editing, yes. But I do not provide copy edits or proofreading as a gig option or service.
