Construction Estimator and Project Controls Specialist
About this Gig
Send me your plans. You get back a quantity takeoff you can actually verify.
Every line in the Excel is referenced to the sheet and detail number it came from, and I return your plans marked up in Bluebeam so you can see exactly where each quantity was measured. No black box. If a number looks wrong, you can trace it in seconds.
Use the output to order material, request subcontractor quotes, or build your bid.
WHAT I DELIVER
Excel takeoff with quantities by work item
BOQ organized by trade
Marked-up plans showing every measurement
Unit price analysis and cost summary (Premium)
WHY ME
I am a civil engineer with an MSc in Construction Management and 9 years on real construction sites, not only behind a screen. I have worked on public infrastructure projects including deep foundations, structural platforms and underground pipe jacking. I know what a number means before I measure it.
I work in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, Revit and Excel, and I read plans in English and Spanish.
Send me your drawings and tell me which trades you need. If the scope does not fit a package, message me and I will quote it.

FAQ
What files do you need from me?
PDF drawings work best. DWG, RVT or scanned plans are also fine. Please confirm the scale if the drawings are not to scale, and tell me which trades you need measured.
How accurate is the takeoff?
I measure directly from your drawings and reference every quantity to its sheet and detail number so you can verify it. If a drawing is unclear or missing information, I ask before assuming. I do not guess quantities.
Can you work in Spanish?
Yes. I read and deliver in English or Spanish. If your crew works in Spanish and your client needs English, I can label the deliverable in both.
