What do you need to get started?
I need the text/copy for the website, your logo files and any links to sites you like the look of, to be used as references.
Do you provide hosting and domain?
Yes, I can provide you hosting on my hostinger account additionally I also provide hosting management if you are using my hosting service or I can guide you through the best options for your project including where, how to purchase. I then can install and configure as part of the project.
What is your process?
I look at your content, your competitors and the industry in general. I then build up the first version and send you the link. From that point onwards I begin an iterative feedback based process until everyone is happy with the end result. My process usually includes 4 iteration rounds.
Do you provide an SSL as part of the project?
No, but I can guide you through the best options for your project including where, how to purchase. We then can install and configure as part of the project.
Do you custom code functions/ plugins/ themes/ templates?
No I dont hardcode elements onto the site I work with the best of themes on which customization and styling is possible but not of all aspects. There are certain elements that are controlled by WordPress or the theme that I can not change. I dont custom code as this would require ongoing maintenance
How many revisions do you normally offer?
On my projects I offer 4 major revisions (feedback cycles). This is to create some structure to the project. Of course if there are some minor changes and cosmetic revisions or text/image replacement change requests I don’t consider as feedback revisions. I try to be as flexible as I can.
What do you need for the migration?
I can guide you if you are comfortable doing it yourself otherwise I will need your WordPress login and hosting access. In some cases, domain or backup access may also be required depending on the website setup. Please contact me before ordering so I can review the migration requirements first.
Do you provide maintenance?
Yes I provide provide a tech support and maintenance service at an ad hoc basis.
Can I edit my site after migration?
Yes, you can make any changes on your website’s content (texts-images). I strongly recommend that you avoid any major changes on the layout that may cause issues. However, if you are confident with WordPress, you can watch some tutorials and make your changes.
