I will edit your memoir or narrative nonfiction

In my standard package, I'll deliver developmental edits to help you shape your narrative non-fiction into its most effective version. These edits include feedback on sense of setting, pacing, character development, and thematic elements. I always take into consideration your creative goals. My edits will not tell you what to do or how to write but will instead give you feedback on how your writing comes across and some questions or suggestions for places where I think you could achieve your creative goal more effectively.

Here's how the project works:

• Once you decide to work with me, you'll send me your draft. At this point, you can choose to tell me about your creative goals or not, depending on how much of a "cold reader" you want me to be.
• I'll read your draft.
• I'll send you the developmental edits letter.
• If you've booked a phone call, we will meet for up to 60 minutes to discuss my feedback as an opportunity for you to brainstorm or pick my brain on what is next for your project.
