I already have a blog/article. What exactly do you need from me?
Just send me the original piece and I'll read it properly first. I'm interested in understanding what you were trying to say, not just grabbing sentences and rearranging them. If you have a particular audience, platform, or idea you want me to lean into, tell me that too.
What if my original content isn't very long?
That's fine. Sometimes a single paragraph contains enough material for several stories. Send it anyway. I'll tell you if there's enough to work with before we begin.
Are you going to rewrite my article ten times?
No. I'm not helping you produce more content by saying the same thing ten times. I'm finding ten doors into the same story.
What kind of content can I give you?
Blogs, articles, captions, old social media posts, campaign copy, newsletters, website content. You name it. If you've written it and you're wondering whether there's more life left in it, send it over.
I have a piece that performed really well. Can you help me get more out of it?
That's actually one of my favourite things to work with. Send me the piece and, if you have them, the engagement numbers or comments it received. Those can give me clues about what resonated with people, and we can build from there.
What do you mean by "poetic"? Will everything rhyme?
Well, yes and no. 😂 Poetry isn't just rhyming words. For me, it's about wordplay, rhythm, imagery, emotion and looking at something from an interesting angle. Your content can remain conversational while still carrying that poetic touch.
What if I don't want all ten pieces to be heavily poetic?
Tell me. The poetry is a tool, not a cage. I can keep the writing natural and conversational while using imagery, rhythm and wordplay where they actually make the piece better.
Where can I use the ten pieces?
That's up to you. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, captions, newsletters, blog teasers, or keep them in your content bank for later. If you tell me where you're planning to publish them, I'll write with that platform in mind.
Can you work with content that wasn't written by me?
Yes, provided you have the right to use and repurpose it. If it's your company's old blog, an article you've commissioned, or content you've been given permission to use, we're good to go.
Can I send you a topic instead of an existing piece?
This gig is built around repurposing existing content, so an original piece works best. If you only have an idea or topic, message me anyway. We may be better off creating something from scratch rather than forcing this service to do a job it wasn't designed for.
