About this gig
Hey, my name is JD, and I've been a professional, drummer for more than 20 years. I have a ton of experience performing a wide range of genres, including notable recordings for extreme metal, metalcore, and pop punk bands. Drumming is my ultimate passion in life, and I love being able to share that gift with others. I work out of my own studio, with pro grade gear, and can offer you the chance to have a real LIVE drummer, playing pro drums, on your next song.
My primary gear includes Tama Starclassic drums, DW Performance Series Drums, Shure and Sennheiser mics, All A Custom Zildjian Cymbals, Universal Audio and Focusrite Preamps, and Pro Tools for my main DAW (Logic or Reaper sessions available upon request).

My name is jD, I operate a small home studio in NW Illinois, and have a long history of performing and recording drums, and experience with mixing, and full audio production as well.
FAQ
Do I get full audio stems?
100% yes. I record 14 channels of audio. The tracks will be edited for a polished sounding performance, and you will receive RAW audio tracks, ready to import into your session for a mix.
Do you mix the drums first?
Nope. I send you the raw drums. Mixing is tailored to each unique session, so pre-mixed options, no matter how much social media promises you, will never be a "one size fits all". However, I do offer full song mixing at an additional cost.
What if I don't like your drum parts?
No problem! I allow unlimited revisions, to make sure you're getting EXACTLY what you pay for. Bear in mind however, we are restricted by human anatomy, and there may be some things that aren't possible. This is rare, but would require either a compromise or a refund.
Why are your prices so cheap?
This isn't my main job. This is something I do because I want to, and because I love doing it! So I don't really need to charge a lot. Besides, I'm new here, gimme a break!
