I will reverse engineer mechanical part and convert stl to step for cnc 3d printing

About this gig
Have a physical part, 3D scan, STL, or OBJ mesh that needs to become a clean, editable CAD file your manufacturer can actually use?
I reverse engineer mechanical parts and convert scan/mesh data into production-ready parametric STEP geometry for consumer hardware, automotive, industrial, and electronics applications.
Ive delivered 30+ parts now used in live commercial products, including complex automotive components for Treedy Labs. Every file is built for real manufacturing not just viewing.
What I do:
STL/OBJ/scan clean STEP/IGES
Physical part Fusion 360 / Onshape model
Legacy CAD/mesh editable parametric geometry
Assemblies with fit checks
DFM review for CNC, injection molding, or 3D printing
You get:
Clean STEP files with accurate holes, bosses, radii, tolerances, and no mesh artifacts. Standard/Premium packages include parametric structure, Fusion 360 source files, STL exports, and DFM notes.
Best for replacement parts, aftermarket parts, legacy products, scanned parts, brackets, housings, enclosures, and connectors.
Message me first with photos/files, manufacturing method, key dimensions, and intended use for accurate scoping.
Formats: STEP, IGES, STL, 3MF, F3D, SLDPRT

FAQ
I only have a physical part, no file. Can you work with that?
Yes — this is the most common starting point. Send me clear photos of the part from multiple angles (top, side, front, any critical features) along with key dimensions using a calliper or ruler. For higher accuracy, I work from detailed measurement sheets you fill in.
How accurate will the reverse engineered model be?
Accuracy depends on the quality of reference data you provide. With a well-measured physical sample and clear photos, I typically achieve ±0.1–0.3mm on critical features (holes, mounting points, mating surfaces).
