I will fix google ads lead tracking with gclid capture into your CRM
Conversion Tracking Specialist, GTM, GA4, Google Ads, Meta CAPI
About this Gig
Google Ads says you got 40 conversions. Your CRM shows 12 leads and none of them carry a source. So you cannot tell which campaign actually produced revenue.
The usual cause is simple. The click ID never reaches your form.
WHAT I DO
- Capture gclid, gbraid, wbraid and fbclid on landing, store them, carry them across pages
- - Push them into hidden fields on your form, including embedded tools like Calendly, HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Typeform
- - Set up offline conversion import, so closed deals go back into Google Ads and bidding learns from real revenue
- - Handle iPhone traffic properly. Apple clicks often carry gbraid instead of gclid, and a gclid only setup drops them silently
WHAT YOU GET
- Working capture, tested on desktop and mobile
- - Proof: a live test lead sitting in your CRM with the click ID attached
- - A short walkthrough of how it works
Works with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, GoHighLevel and custom sites.
Tell me your form platform and your CRM before ordering so I can confirm the fit.
Already built and live in a client account: click ID captured at landing, carried through a Calendly booking, then sent back to Google Ads as an offline conversion.

FAQ
Why do some of my leads have no gclid at all?
Usually iPhone. Apple traffic often carries gbraid instead of gclid, and setups that only look for gclid drop those leads with no error at all. I capture all four IDs.
Does this work with an embedded Calendly or HubSpot form?
Yes, and embedded forms are the common failure point. They build themselves before the page script runs, so the value has to be injected a different way. This is the exact case most setups get wrong.
Do I need to change my CRM or my forms?
No. I add a hidden field and map it. Nothing about how you work changes, and your team will not notice any difference except that leads now arrive with a source attached.
What is offline conversion import and do I need it?
When a lead becomes a sale weeks later, that revenue gets sent back to Google Ads against the original click. Bidding then optimizes for money instead of form fills. Worth it if your sales cycle is longer than a few days.
Will this slow my site down?
No. It is a small script inside the tag manager container you already load, and it runs after your page has rendered. No new requests, no render blocking.
