About this Gig
Clean, accurate AutoCAD drawings for any electrical system, from a house DB to a transformer-fed plant or mine. Drawn by an engineer who also works on site.
I draw:
- Single-line diagrams: homes, buildings, solar/inverter, plants and mines (MV/LV, transformers, switchgear)
- DB, MCC and panel layouts with circuit and cable schedules
- Control and PLC schematics, wiring and termination diagrams
- As-builts and redraws of sketches, photos or old PDFs
Design on request:
Load and cable sizing, protection, inverter/battery/PV sizing. Quoted per job.
What you get:
- PDF plus the editable file: DWG or DXF, your choice
- Title block, legend and notes. IEC symbols, SANS 10142-1 by default (or IEC, BS 7671, NEC)
- Clear layers so your team can edit the file
Bigger projects:
The packages cover small jobs. Plant, mine and full building sets are quoted per project, based on the number of drawings and how complex they are. Send your drawing list or sketches for a custom offer.
Note: I prepare drawings and designs. Where an authority needs a professional engineer's signature or stamp, that is arranged separately.

FAQ
Which files do I get?
A PDF of every sheet plus the editable file: DWG (AutoCAD 2018 or the version you ask for) or DXF, your choice. Both if you need them.
Can you work from a hand sketch or photo?
Yes. A clear photo or sketch with the ratings written on it is enough to start. I'll ask if anything is unclear.
Which standards do you follow?
IEC symbols and SANS 10142-1 by default. Tell me if you need IEC, BS 7671 or NEC conventions and I'll draw to those.
Can you sign or stamp the drawings?
No. I prepare the drawings. If your authority needs a professional engineer's signature or stamp, that has to be arranged separately.
What if my job is bigger than the packages?
No limit. Plant, mine, MV/LV reticulation, MCC and PLC sets are quoted per project, based on the number of drawings and how complex they are. Send your drawing list or sketches and I'll make you a custom offer.
Can you do the electrical design, not just the drawing?
Yes, on request. Send your loads or equipment list and I'll size the inverter, battery, PV strings, cables and breakers, then draw it. Quoted per job through a custom offer.
