I will set up an n8n weather alert workflow that uses telegram

I will set up an n8n workflow that checks weather forecast data and sends Telegram alerts when configured weather thresholds are reached.

This workflow uses Open-Meteo forecast data and does not require an Open-Meteo API key.

It can check for:

• Rain and drizzle
• Freezing rain
• Snow
• Showers
• Thunderstorms
• Wind gusts
• Regular wind speed
• Heat and cold

The workflow includes a central config node where the most important settings can be changed easily:

• Telegram chat ID
• Location name
• Latitude and longitude
• Timezone
• Forecast check window
• Wind speed thresholds
• Wind gust thresholds
• Heat and cold thresholds

This gig is based on a ready-to-import n8n workflow template.

Requirements:

• A working n8n instance
• A Telegram bot
• A Telegram chat ID
• Internet access from n8n
