About this Gig
Are you a new blender user or are you still trying to understand how Blender works? Let me help! In this package, you'll do a one-on-one tutoring session with me where I'll teach you blender in a way that's easy to understand and where you can get immediate feedback.
Not only will you learn how to do things like model, texture, and render, but you'll also learn why these workflows work and why we use them. I'll also provide tips and tricks that most tutorials don't talk about, so you'll be able to choose the methods that work best for you!
- Before you book an appointment, please contact me beforehand and give a brief description of what you're trying to learn.
- Please note I will not do any lessons with inflammatory content such as political, religious, or NSFW content. I retain the right to determine what requests are or aren't appropriate at my discretion.
- My time zone is UTC-7. Please keep this in mind when booking a lesson and I will do my best to see if your desired time will work for both of us.

What languages do you speak?
I am a native English speaker and am able to speak in basic Japanese. Please ensure that you are able to understand English at a proficient level when booking a lesson.
I've never used Blender before. Can I still book a lesson?
Absolutely! Whether you're a complete beginner or want to brush up and improve your Blender skills, I'd be honored to help you in your learning journey!
What types of things do you teach in Blender?
I have a variety of skills in Blender, including low-poly and high-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and materials, rigging, and animation. Please message me beforehand to see if my lessons would be a fit for you!
Do I need to use or install any add-ons?
Nope! While I personally like to use a few add-ons and am happy to recommend some, no add-ons are required to take a lesson with me! Blender does have tools and features that are already built in that you can enable too, and I'd love to share these with you as well!
What platform are the lessons on?
I use Google Meet for my meetings! Before booking a lesson, please make sure you have a google account you can use!
Do I need a webcam or microphone?
I generally don't use my webcam for one-on-one lessons, and instead stick to screen sharing. So no webcam is needed. However, a microphone is necessary so that we can communicate and exchange with one another.
Can I record a lesson?
Yes, you may record a lesson for personal educational purposes, but please ask for permission first! As long as you are not uploading the lesson on other platforms or for profit, recording is totally fine!
Can we work on my project together?
Certainly! Please give me a brief description beforehand what you'd like to work on and what your project is. However, as I am offering this service for educational purposes, please note that this gig is not for simply hiring me for any blender task, but rather so we can work through things together
Will you pre-record a tutorial video for me?
No, my lessons are meant to be a 1 on 1 session where we both communicate, you ask me questions, and I give you live feedback. Recording a tutorial beforehand takes that communication away so I will only accept doing live lessons where both you and I are present.
