This gig is for reviewing and fixing Japanese text that is already translated. If you only have English text, please message me first.
How do you count words in Japanese?
About 2 Japanese characters count as 1 word. For example, 1,000 Japanese characters are about 500 words.
What file types can you work with?
Word, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, plain text, or a CSV/XML export from your CMS. I return the file in the same format when possible.
Can you edit my website directly?
I don't log in to your website. I send corrected text, and you or your developer update the site.
What is the difference from your proofreading gig?
My proofreading gig fixes text only. This gig also checks how Japanese looks on your live pages and adjusts it for Japanese customers.
Is my content kept confidential?
Yes. I use your files only for your order and do not share them with anyone.
