Transportation companies in USA and Canada normally need to break down their trip by states for regulatory purposes such as IFTA or State Fuel Taxes.
IFTA calculator is available on different sites but what if you want automation and your application to calculate state distances automatically? Answer is not easy!!!
THIS SOLUTION ONLY WORKS FOR USA and CANADA, please contact if you want to include other country before order.
Solution for non technical users:
I will give you html page, you will just copy in a folder and double click to load calculator in your browser
PHP based Solution for developers:
I will give you PHP API and you would need to host (depending on package you buy) and make a call to PHP based API to get distance travelled within each state with fuel tax to be paid as JSON response.
You can consume JSON response for further automation purposes.
Both above solution only need start and end address as input.
Note: You would need Google API key to run this calculator. If you don't have, I can help you to setup in your Google account, it is free and would take maximum 20 minutes to setup.
