About this gig
It's a real studio session, live, with me playing on your song while you direct me, give me advice, and help me to better achieve your goal.
How does it work? You send me the material of your song, backing track, sheet music, etc., and at the set time, we'll meet on video chat. Then you, via an Audiomovers plugin, will be able to listen live and in high quality to what I'm recording, and you can intervene at any time.
The whole thing will last 40 minutes, and afterward, you will have the takes that were recorded with your help. No back and forth with the usual misunderstandings that may normally arise when you don't know each other musically.
It will be like being together in a real recording studio!
First of all contact me and send me your track, to make sure it is suitable for this kind of work. However if its a pop, rock, jazz etc. song or even an instrumental piece with a simple structure will be fine (no classical music with sheet music of several pages please).

What's needed before the session?
1. The track of what you have already recorded, better separate tracks (like I.vocals II.rhythm section III.guitars). That you need to export exactly at the first beat of a bar, preferably a bar before the music starts. 2. A lead sheet or chord chart showing the structure of the song. 3. BPM
What is needed in the session?
In order to do the session you only need a computer with Zoom installed and a browser (Chrome and Firefox are best, with Safari you will need to enable auto-play in the preferences). Mandatory to use headphones otherwise there will be problems with sound returns.
When will I receive the takes recorded during the session?
I will deliver the recorded tracks, audio and midi, without editing, to you as soon as possible. Probably right after the session. Definitely within 48 hours.
What instruments can be recorded?
Acoustic piano (Schimmel baby grand), Virtual acoustic pianos (Ravenscroft 275, Nord, N.I, Garritan, Keyscape), Electric piano (Rhodes Suitcase '73), Virtual electric pianos, Hammond organ, Synthesizers, Melodica.
What are the times when the session can be done?
The day and time of the session will be decided together. Normally I am available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm Italian time (CEST or UTC+2). But it is also possible to organize at other times if necessary.
