What do I need to provide to get started?
I need your raw data files (Excel, CSV, or a database extract) and a brief explanation of the specific business questions you want this dashboard to answer. The clearer your goals, the better the final dashboard will be!
Can you handle complex financial or inventory data?
Yes. My background involves deep practical knowledge of accounting principles and daily retail operations. I understand how to accurately track and visualize cash flow, profit margins, fast-moving inventory, and sales performance.
What if my data is very messy or unorganized?
Not a problem at all! I will use Power Query to clean, format, and structure your data before building the dashboard. If the data is extremely complex, please message me first so we can ensure it is doable within the standard timeframe.
Will I be able to update the dashboard myself in the future?
Yes! Once the dashboard is built, you can easily refresh the data yourself whenever you update your source file. If you purchase the "Source File" extra, I will also give you the editable .pbix file so you can make structural changes later.
Is my business data kept safe and confidential?
Absolutely. I treat all client data with strict confidentiality. I will only use your data for the purpose of building your dashboard, and I am happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) if required.
What exactly counts as "Clean Data" for the Basic Package?
Clean data means your Excel or CSV file can be loaded directly into Power BI without any errors. It must have clear column headers, no blank rows, consistent date formats, and no need to be merged with other spreadsheets. If your data doesn't look like this, please choose the Standard or Premium
Do you accept data in PDFs, Word documents, or image formats?
No, I exclusively work with Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV files. I do not offer data extraction or manual data entry from PDFs or images.

Will I receive the Power BI source file (.pbix)?
Yes! Once the dashboard is completed and approved, I will provide the original .pbix source file so you have full ownership of the project and can maintain it in the future.
What is included in a "revision"?
A revision includes minor aesthetic tweaks, such as changing colors, adjusting font sizes, or swapping out a specific chart type. It does not include adding entirely new data sources or completely restructuring the dashboard layout after the initial delivery.
