Do I need to know Excel?
No. You only type your trades into the input cells. Stats, charts and grades calculate automatically.
Google Sheets or Excel?
Tell me which one you use before ordering. I will confirm what is possible in that tool and deliver the version that works best.
Is my trading data private?
Yes. The journal is your own file and your trades stay with you. I only see your trades if you choose the Premium review and send them to me.
Do you give trading advice or signals?
No. The journal tracks your trades and your discipline. It gives no signals and no profit promises. The Premium review looks at your habits and rules, not at what to trade.
How much do I have to type per trade?
Only time in, time out and P&L. Date and instrument carry down by themselves. Plan kept, feelings and the 1 to 5 star ratings are filled in automatically from your behaviour - and anything you type yourself always wins.
Does it work with my broker or platform?
Yes. You simply enter the P&L your platform shows: Tradovate, NinjaTrader, MT5, Zerodha or any other. Daily loss limits, max trades per day and risk per trade are all set by you in the Settings sheet.
Will this journal make me profitable?
No tool can promise that. What it does is show you exactly where your money goes - revenge trades, overtrading, weak setups, bad hours - and tells you the one thing to fix first. Fixing the leaks is up to you.
Can I change the rules and limits?
Yes. Risk per trade, daily loss limits, max trades per day, your instruments, emotions, mistakes and the star-rating thresholds are all in one Settings sheet. Change a number and the whole journal follows.
