Scraping publicly available data is generally legal, but you must comply with the website's terms of service and local laws. I only scrape public data and use ethical practices. You're responsible for how you use the data.
What format will I receive the data in?
You'll get clean data in CSV (Excel-compatible) or JSON format, whichever you prefer. Data will be organized in columns with proper headers and formatting.
Can you scrape data that requires login?
Yes, if you provide valid login credentials. This is included in Standard and Premium packages. Your credentials are never stored and used only for the scraping task.
Will I get the source code?
Yes! You'll receive the complete Python scraper code with documentation on how to run it yourself. You can modify it or use it for future scraping needs.
Can you set up automated/scheduled scraping?
Yes, in Standard and Premium packages. I can set up the scraper to run daily, weekly, or on your preferred schedule, with results automatically saved or emailed to you.
What if the website changes and scraper breaks?
Websites do change layouts occasionally. I include one free fix within 30 days of delivery if the website structure changes. After that, fixes are available at extra cost.
