What is a sample edit?
A sample edit is performed on a small part of a larger work, to give authors a preview of what it's like to work with the editor. I offer sample edits of the first four pages (up to 1000 words) of a book-length work. These are copyedits.
Can you proofread my work?
Proofreading comes after copyedits are completed. I offer proofreading services at a rate of $0.0075/word.
How many revisions are included?
Each editing pass is sold separately so that you never pay for work you don't use. Special rates are available for successive editing passes on the same manuscript. Contact me for more information.
