About this gig
In order to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other similar laws, websites must notify their visitors that they are using cookies, location data, and any other personal information that users are about to provide.
They must also let their users know how they protect data, what they would do in case of a data breach or a company sale, and more.
Websites must also allow users to accept or deny the usage of non-necessary cookies when they visit.
MY SERVICE
I create a (or optimize an existing) GDPR/CCPA/PIPEDA/PECR compliant privacy policy page, and I setup a cookie opt-in banner that will make your Shopify store compliant with those laws and other similar.
I create a custom cookie policy that will list the cookies used on your site and for what purposes they are used.
INFORMATION
The policy pages and the cookie opt-in banner text are provided only in English or Spanish. If you're willing to provide a translation, I'll be happy to set it up.
The service is only provided for Shopify sites. I also offer the same service for WordPress and Wix websites. Please check my other gigs.

Do I need to provide any information for the policies?
Some of the policies will need to have information edited or removed to match your own store policies. For example shipping, returns, and refunds policies. You can edit the information yourself after I'm done with the work, or you can let me know the information to be changed.
Do you provide this service for any type of online store?
Yes. I can provide the service for any type of Shopify website. I also provide the same service for WordPress and Wix websites, please check my other gigs if you're interested in those platforms.
Can you provide only the documents?
Sure! If for any reason you can't provide access to your website, I can only upload the policies in Word and PDF formats. I can also instruct you on how to install the cookie opt-in banner.
What information do I need to provide for you do to do this service?
I will need access to your Shopify website's admin panel to create the pages and configure the banner. You can give me an existing admin account or provide me access as a collaborator. If you only want the policies in Word and PDF formats you won't have to provide any access information.
What languages do you support?
At the moment I can provide the policies in English or Spanish. If your store is in a different language, I can create the policies in English and you can make the translation.
