What file formats can I send for my knowledge base?
: PDFs, Word docs, TXT, CSV, Markdown, Notion exports, and website URLs. If your data's in another format, message me and I'll let you know if it'll work.
Do I need my own OpenAI/Anthropic/API key?
Yes, you'll need your own API key for the LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). I'll guide you on which one fits your budget and use case — usage costs are separate from my gig fee.
Will you host the chatbot for me, or do I need my own server?
I'll deploy it to a cloud platform (e.g., Render, Railway, AWS) or your existing infrastructure. Ongoing hosting costs aren't included in the package price, but I'll give you clear estimates upfront.
Is my data kept private and secure?
Yes. Your documents and data are used only to build your system and are never shared, reused, or stored beyond project delivery unless you ask me to keep a backup.
Can the chatbot be embedded into my existing website or app?
Absolutely — I can provide an embeddable widget, API endpoint, or standalone interface depending on your package
What's the difference between RAG and fine-tuning — which do I need?
RAG retrieves answers from your documents in real time (best for frequently updated info). Fine-tuning trains the model on your data directly (best for tone, style, or specialized domain knowledge). Message me your use case and I'll recommend the right fit.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes — each package includes revision rounds to make sure the system meets your requirements before final delivery.
What happens if I need changes after the project is delivered?
Basic and Standard packages include a short adjustment window post-delivery. Premium includes 2 weeks of dedicated post-launch support. Extended support beyond that can be arranged separately.
I'm not technical — can I still use this?
Yes. I'll provide simple documentation and a walkthrough so you (or your team) can manage and use the system without needing to code.
