Will my product options come across?
Yes. OpenCart options can add price and weight per value, and Shopify allows 3 options and 2,048 variants, so each product is mapped to variants or an options app. Stock tracked per option value is converted with you.
What happens to my OpenCart extensions?
I list every extension and OCMOD modification and map each one to a Shopify feature, an app or a small custom build. Data that extensions stored outside the standard fields is pulled from the database.
Can you keep my order numbers?
Yes. Orders keep their OpenCart numbers and dates, with payment statuses mapped and order notes kept.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the redirects are done properly. Every product, category, page and blog URL gets a 301 redirect to its new Shopify address, and I test them before launch. Titles and meta descriptions move with the products.
Can you keep my customer group pricing?
Yes. OpenCart customer groups and quantity discounts become Shopify B2B catalogs, customer tags or automatic discounts, depending on your plan.
Can you keep my current design?
OpenCart's templates cannot run on Shopify, so the storefront is rebuilt: matched to your current look, given a facelift or redesigned on Shopify's Horizon theme.
Do I pay Shopify during the build?
No. As a Shopify Plus Partner I build in a free development store, so you pay Shopify nothing until the store goes live.
