Will my store really get fined if I am not GDPR-compliant?
Germany is the most aggressive GDPR enforcement country in Europe. Fines start at €2,500 for minor violations and competitor complaints are extremely common Authorities act on every one.
I already have a cookie banner. Isn't that enough?
No. If your tracking pixels fire before consent or your privacy policy is a generic template, you are still fully exposed even with a banner showing.
I am not based in Germany. Does GDPR still apply to me?

What is an Abmahnung and should I be worried?
