What’s the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading is the final step before publishing. I’ll correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors—but I won’t change wording, tone, or structure. If you need help with rewriting or improving flow, that falls under editing, which I offer in a different gig.
Will I see the changes you made?
Yes—absolutely. I’ll return a version of your file with tracked changes enabled, so you can review every correction before accepting them. And I'm happy to provide further details about my suggestions.
What file formats do you accept?
I accept .doc, .docx, and Google Docs so you can access tracked changes. For PDFs, I can annotate, but tracked changes aren't supported.
Can you work on urgent or same-day requests?
In many cases, yes! If you’re on a tight deadline, send me a message before ordering and I’ll let you know if a rush delivery is possible.
