I will perform a sensitivity read for autistic characters

If you are not autistic but you have written a fiction story (of any length) featuring autistic characters or dealing with issues related to autism, I can read your manuscript and give you feedback on how well your manuscript handles autism. I will write a report giving my honest opinion about your writing, which will cover things such as whether or not the manuscript relies too much on stereotypes, whether it is respectful or not of autistic people, and how accurate it is in depicting the autistic experience.

I was formally diagnosed with autism (Level 1) as an adult, and I have done significant personal research into autism and the autistic community. Obviously, I can only speak to my own experience of being autistic, and my thoughts and opinions may vary from those of other autistic people. Also, if you are looking for someone who has been diagnosed as being Level 2 or Level 3, or if you are looking for someone who was diagnosed when they were a child/adolescent, then I am probably not the best person to be reading your manuscript.
