Can you help me simplify my writing so that young kids can read my story?
Yes! This is called "leveling" a book, and I offer it through my premium service. Leveling often involves simplifying vocabulary and shortening sentences, and I primarily do it for clients who are writing easy readers or chapter books. If you'd like to learn more, please contact me!
Can I send you my document as a PDF?
Since Adobe doesn't provide users with the ability to change a document directly AND track those changes, I need to use markup tools and/or describe required edits in the Comments area of a PDF. This often takes extra time. Please contact me if your manuscript is in PDF before placing an order.
Do you work on rhyming books?
Yes. However, my services don't include heavy rewriting to improve meter and rhyme scheme for rhyming books. If you're looking for that sort of help, you will want to seek out a substantive editor or line editor.
