I will design a custom new pet care and behaviour guide
Writing, research and planning support
About this Gig
I write and design adult-focused pet care guides to help new owners welcome their new family member home. Perfect as a thoughtful gift or a professional handout for breeders and rescue shelters, these guides provide mature insights to ensure a smooth transition for any new pet.
With my MSc in Animal Behaviour, I focus on evidence-based behavioural tips and enrichment routines alongside standard care essentials.
What each 4-to-5-page visual guide covers:
- Diet: Food and balanced nutrition.
- Play: Creative enrichment ideas.
- Health: Routine vaccinations and health care.
- Likes & Dislikes: Environment and understanding behaviour.
Standard and Premium tiers are personalised with the pet's name on a custom cover, and Premium includes an additional page of behavioural insights. I specialise in dogs, cats and rabbits, but I am happy to consider other exotic pets (excluding reptiles, snakes, insects and spiders, which require specialist clinical setups outside my expertise).
Please note: This guide is for educational and gift purposes only. I am an animal behaviour specialist, not a licensed veterinarian. This guide does not replace professional medical or veterinary advice.

FAQ
How do I receive my final booklet?
I deliver your completed care guide as a high-resolution, print-ready digital PDF file.
Can you adjust the guidelines for different countries?
Yes! Vaccination schedules and common pet guidelines vary by location. Please let me know your country in the requirement steps so I can align the text with your local recommendations.
Can I request a custom guide for a pet not listed?
Absolutely! While I specialise in dogs, cats and rabbits, I am happy to create a guide for other exotic pets. The exception are reptiles, snakes, insects and spiders, which require specialist clinical setups outside of my expertise.
