That one is written specifically for self published authors with no PR support. This is the general version, for any book announcement including publishers and small presses.
What word count do I actually need?
250 covers a simple announcement. 400 is what most distribution sites expect. 600 suits a bigger launch with more context.
Will you include a quote?
Yes, from Standard up. Either one you give me, or I draft one that sounds like you.
Do you handle distribution?
Not in this gig. I have a separate distribution gig and we can pair them.
Can you write it for something other than a launch?
Yes. Awards, new editions, series additions, signings and adaptations all work as press releases.
Do you optimise it for search?
Standard and Premium include relevant keywords worked in naturally, so it has a better chance of ranking if it gets published online.
How fast can I get it back?
Basic is 1 day. If you need it faster than that, message me before ordering.
What if the tone is not right?
Revisions are included, 1 on Basic, 2 on Standard, 3 on Premium.
Do you write for nonfiction as well as fiction?
Both. Nonfiction often pitches more easily because there is usually a news hook already attached.
