About this Gig
I will proofread your text, no matter what it is (almost :) )
Please do NOT send me Google translations to proofread.
Please do NOT use multiple $5 gigs for documents longer than 1500 words for 24-hour delivery - I cannot guarantee that and will most likely request the order cancellation. This applies to ALL the gig options.
What this gig IS for:
- Correcting spelling
- Correcting grammar
- Tweaking odd sentences
What this gig IS NOT for:
· Entirely rewriting text
· Editing PDFs
I do not outsource and will personally read every word and spot every comma that wants to join the party when it wasn't really invited and doesn't belong.
You will receive:
- The proofread document with comments on what was changed + a screenshot of how to see them in case your Word does not open them automatically.
- The proofread document without the comments of what was changed - ready to print or attach to an email.

FAQ
What type of files do you accept?
I can only accept editable text files such as Microsoft Office (or similar). I accept PDF files as long as they are text ones and can be converted to Word. I am not able to accept images.
I need my text to fit a certain number of words or characters. Do you do that?
I will try my best to stay within the limit of the number of words or characters provided the original text respects that limit. However, I will not rewrite texts to make sure they fit.
Do you proofread big projects?
My availability to accept big projects is somewhat limited. If your text exceeds the maximum number of words offered in my gig, please contact me before purchasing multiple gigs.
What if my project is 1510 words, do I need to buy an extra gig?
Truth be told, those 10 words may not even be required in the final form of the text. So, in plain English, no, you don't, I will do it for the price of 1 gig.
Can I send multiple documents? Do the words add up?
Yes, it is perfectly fine for your 1500 words to be in 1 or 10 or 100 documents as long as they are sent at the same time. Please note, I no longer accept requests for X number of words and then have documents sent over time until the number of words runs out.
