FAQ
1. Will my food packaging be ready for printing?
Yes. Your artwork will be prepared in CMYK with the correct bleed and placed on the approved dieline. You will receive a print-ready PDF and editable Adobe Illustrator files.
2. Are editable source files included?
Yes. Editable AI source files and high-quality print PDFs are included in every package.
3. Do you create the packaging dieline?
I usually work with the official dieline supplied by your printer or manufacturer. I can create or adapt simple dielines when accurate measurements are available. Complex structural packaging requires a custom quote and may need manufacturer validation.
4. Do you create the Nutrition Facts panel?
I can professionally format and place nutritional information supplied by you. I do not calculate nutritional values or certify the legal accuracy of the information.
5. Is food-label regulatory compliance included?
No. You must provide and approve all ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, claims, warnings, symbols and legally required information for your target market.
6. Can you create food images or illustrations?
Yes. I can retouch supplied product photos, compose ingredient imagery or create original illustrations as an additional service. Please contact me before ordering if this is required.
7. What counts as one packaging item?
One unique label, box, pouch, wrapper, sleeve or packaging structure counts as one item. A different structure, size or dieline is considered an additional item.
8. Can you design multiple flavors or SKUs?
Yes. I can create a master design and extend it across several flavors or SKUs. Simple variations can be ordered as extras or through the Product Line package.
9. What is considered a revision?
A revision is an adjustment to the approved design direction, such as colors, typography, layout or supplied text. A completely new concept is not considered a revision.
10. Do you provide physical printing?
No. I provide professional files for your printer or manufacturer, but physical printing and packaging production are not included.
