FAQ
My app works in the preview but breaks on the live link. Why?
The editor preview runs with your logged in session and development settings, while the published app runs in a completely different context. Login flows, permissions and hard coded localhost links usually break there. I test the live version as a real new user and fix each gap.
My publish keeps failing or the live app still shows the old version. Can you fix that?
Yes. This is either a failed build or a caching issue. I check the deployment and backend function logs, confirm your secrets are set, look at the last change you made, and roll back or repair it until a clean version publishes.
My custom domain will not verify. What is wrong?
Almost always one of four things: DNS has not finished spreading, a record value or host name is slightly wrong, your provider does not support the record type Base44 asks for at the root domain, or custom domains are not on your plan. I set the records correctly and confirm the certificate.
I use Cloudflare and my pages return 404 or SSL errors.
Base44 records should be set to DNS only, not proxied. Proxying causes new pages to 404 and breaks SSL. I fix the record settings and verify the site loads on both the bare domain and www.
The AI keeps breaking working features and burning my credits. Can you stop that?
