FAQ
Do I need to provide the robot rig, or do you rig it too?
For the best results and fastest delivery, please provide a fully rigged 3D model (FBX or Maya/Blender file). However, if your model isn't rigged yet, I can rig it for an additional cost. Just send me a message with your model before ordering so I can check the topology!
What file formats will I receive?
I deliver standard .FBX animation files, which are universally compatible with Unreal Engine 5, Unity, and Godot. For Unreal Engine projects on the Premium package, I can also provide custom .UEAnim files for seamless direct importing.
Will the animations be Root Motion or In-Place?
I can do both! By default, walk/run cycles are animated "In-Place" so you can drive the movement via your game engine's code. If you specifically need Root Motion, just let me know in the order requirements.
Can you make the robot move with heavy, mechanical weight instead of floaty human motion?
Absolutely! That is my specialty. I use custom IK/FK blending and specific timing curves to ensure every servo, piston, and joint moves with realistic mechanical weight and clunky robot physics
Do you sell the 3D robot models shown in your portfolio?
The models in my portfolio are either client-owned or licensed for my demo reel only. If you need a custom robot model built from scratch, please message me for a custom offer covering 3D modeling + rigging + animation
