About this Gig
Shopify SEO for Google and AI Search by a Shopify Select Partner
Traffic now comes from two places: classic search and AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews. I optimize your Shopify store for both: technical SEO plus GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
What you get:
- Full SEO audit with a prioritized action plan
- Keyword research and on-page work: titles, meta, H1-H3, URLs, alt text, internal links
- Technical fixes: 404s, redirects, crawl and indexing errors
- Schema markup (Product, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Organization), XML sitemap, robots.txt
- Google Search Console and GA4 setup
- GEO: entity clarity, FAQ blocks and llms.txt so AI engines can quote your brand
- Clear report: what was broken, what I fixed, what to do next
Why work with me:
- Shopify developer since 2016, Select Partner since 2022
- 470+ stores built for brands in 67+ countries
- I'm a developer, not just an auditor: in Standard and Premium I implement the fixes in your theme code myself, so nothing stays on a to-do list
Send me your store URL in chat and I'll tell you what's holding it back before you order.
SEO service providers cannot guarantee results
SEO services offer implementation of SEO practices only, which may take weeks or months before any results begin to show.
My Portfolio
FAQ
Will my Shopify store appear in ChatGPT and Perplexity?
Yes — AI search optimization is included. I configure your store so ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can read and recommend it: llms.txt file, AI-friendly robots.txt, schema markup, and structured product data. This is a fast-growing traffic channel most stores ignore.
Can you guarantee my Shopify store ranks #1 on Google?
Honestly, no SEO can guarantee #1 rankings — Google uses 200+ factors no one fully controls. What I guarantee is professional white-hat optimization based on Google's official guidelines. The result is steady ranking growth, more organic traffic, and zero penalty risk.
How long until I see SEO results on my Shopify store?
On-page SEO results typically start showing in 4–12 weeks depending on competition, store age, and product niche. New stores need more time to build authority. Established stores often see ranking improvements within the first month after technical fixes are applied.
Do you only work with Shopify, or other platforms too?
Yes. I specialize 100% in Shopify SEO — that's why I deliver better results than generalist SEO freelancers. I know Shopify's theme structure, Liquid templates, and platform-specific issues inside out. Other CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix) are not my service.
What’s the difference between Basic and Standard?
Basic is an audit: a clear report on what’s broken and how to fix it. In Standard and Premium I implement the fixes in your theme code myself, so you don’t need a developer to act on the report.
Do you work with new Shopify stores or only established ones?
Both. New stores benefit most from proper SEO foundation — fixing technical issues before Google indexes mistakes. Established stores get more from keyword optimization and audit-based fixes. Send me your URL and I'll recommend the right approach.
Will you rewrite my product descriptions or write blog content?
No. All SEO work is done directly in your theme code — meta tags, headings, schema, technical setup. Product descriptions and blog content are separate copywriting services. If you need both, I can recommend trusted copywriters to work alongside.
Is this a one-time service or ongoing?
This gig is a one-time SEO service — the technical foundation stays in your store forever. SEO itself is ongoing (Google updates, new competitors, content growth), so I offer maintenance retainers separately if you want continuous monitoring and improvements.
What access do you need?
Collaborator access to your Shopify store. For Premium I also need access to Google Search Console and GA4, or I can set them up for you. I’ll send the request right after you order.
