What do you need from me to start the 3D CAD modeling?
I need a rough hand-drawn sketch with basic dimensions, a 2D technical drawing, or reference photos of a similar product. The more information you provide, the faster I can model it!
Are your STL files guaranteed to 3D print?
Yes! I design strictly for manufacturing. I ensure proper wall thicknesses, manifold geometry, and clearances so your custom STL file slices and prints perfectly on any 3D printer.
Do you provide the editable source file?
Yes, if you order the Standard or Premium package, I will include the native CAD source file (SolidWorks .SLDPRT or Fusion 360 .F3D) so you can edit the design in the future.
Can you reverse engineer a broken plastic part?
Absolutely. If you send me clear photos of the broken part next to a ruler or caliper for scale, I can reverse engineer it and provide a new 3D model for you to print a replacement.
What if I need to send the file to a CNC machine later?
No problem! Along with the STL file for 3D printing, I also provide STEP and IGES files in every package, which are the industry standards for CNC machining and injection molding.
Will you sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)?
