About this gig
I will create a loveable freehand portrait drawing from your photo. Hence, the result is realistic, hand-drawn artwork using traditional art techniques on paper.
In portraiture, I aim at flawless and timeless art. I only use high-quality artistic materials and archival-grade papers. Thus, my portrait drawings are perfect for family collections, gift-giving, personal wall art or commercial use.
My workflow:
- Kindly provide the best quality source pictures for the best drawing results. The more detail, the better. JPEG, preferably in 300 dpi.
- You choose the dry media technique: graphite, carbon, charcoal, colour pencil or Aux trois crayons, which means drawing on toned paper with three pencils.
- My portrait drawing of one face on fine art paper, DIN A4, unframed.
- Upon completion, I will deliver the artwork as a digital image in 300 dpi, ready to print.
For any special requests, kindly ask me any questions beforehand. As a professional, I will work until I finish the portrait to the utmost standard. Therefore, this process will take several hours and often more than one workday.

I always have been drawing since my early childhood. I love drawing and painting in all traditional media and techniques. I studied fine arts and concluded academic studies with an M.F.A. degree in Visual arts. Once again Leo made the impossible possible. Working from a very old and poor quality image, he captured the essence of the person, even when he needed to "invent" some details that were missing from the original image such as the head being cut off and hair missing etc. Leo is a true magic maker
