About this Gig
As a reader of science-fiction and fantasy novels for as long as I can remember, I have always had a fondness for tales of adventure, fresh now worlds and bold and brave characters. I have previous experience working as both an alpha and beta reader for fantasy and science fiction writers though have recently started on Fiverr. With my previous work as a professionally trained actor, I have spent the better part of twenty years deconstructing plot, characters and voice and can bring a unique perspective to your manuscript.
My reader report will include feedback on the following:

I understand how daunting it can be sharing your work with a beta reader as I am a writer myself; this is why I always aim to provide honest but nurturing feedback as I believe in championing a writer's work!

Why Should I Book You When You Have Few Previous Reviews On Fiverr?
Fair question that I am happy to answer! I have previous experience being an alpha and beta reader for other writers through word of mouth and through my personal website. I am new to the Fiverr platform, hence the lack of reviews.
What Is Your Confidentiality Policy?
I am 100% strictly confidential and promise to never share works with another person in any capacity. I believe in building strong relationships with clients and that starts with developing trust.
Do You Offer The Chance Of Asking Questions For Clarity Surrounding Your Report?
Of course! I want each client to feel that they have received good value for their hard earned money. I do offer one free revision per package but also offer an additional video call debrief if you would prefer to also discuss in person!
Have You Ever Used Beta Readers Before?
I absolutely have! I am an aspiring writer also, having written two full manuscripts myself. I have worked with some fantastic beta readers who enhanced my material and really helped to level up my work. I know what it is like to be on the other side of the coin and how important beta reading is.
Will You Beta Read Other Genres?
Yes, depending on what they are! If they are adjacent to science fiction and fantasy then I will still probably be a good match. I would consider romantasy and dystopian (which also has potential for elements of thriller) to be a good example. I am probably not a good fit for hard romance though.
