Have you revised your story, nailed down your characters and plot, edited for grammar and spelling, and now need someone to take a last look to make sure it's perfect? I can help you out!
I have a degree in English and also minored in editing and creative writing where I studied the nitty-gritty details of language. I have been a beta reader for several novels, worked as an acquisitions editor for a science fiction and fantasy magazine, and edited several novels. I've also written two of my own novels.
Here are the things I typically look for in a proofread:

I specialize in young adult, romance, historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy books. I don't work on erotic romance.
Note: In this edit, I won't be looking for larger issues such as plot holes or weak character arcs. If you'd like that kind of edit, it's available as a gig extra or I have a developmental editing gig you can check out.

What is proofreading?
Proofreading is the last step to make sure a book is ready for readers. It is intended to catch anything that was missed in the previous edits. It mainly focuses on grammar and spelling, but can also be used to make sure everything is consistent.
How should I send over my story?
Microsoft Word works best for me, but you can send me a message if that doesn't work for you, and we can work something out.
I'm not sure if my story needs this or something else. What should I do?
Send me a message and we can chat about what stage your story is in and what the best step is moving forward. I want to help you make your story the best that it can be!
Do you edit other genres?
Yes! I specialize in YA, romance, historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy, but I'm happy to work with most genres. I don't work on erotic romance.
How do you make your edits?
I usually use the commenting and track changes features in Word. If that doesn't work for you though, I'm happy to try to adapt to do something that does work for you.
What will I get when you deliver the order?
When I deliver the order, you'll get your edited manuscript with all changes visible through track changes and a clean version of your manuscript with all changes accepted. You can also add on a style sheet if you'd like one.
