It's one of the most finicky, time-consuming, and expensive musical services out there.

Bottom line: most of us cannot afford fully edited, mixed, and mastered, TRADITIONALLY mocked-up music. The industry rate can exceed $500/minute!

In 2023, I was commissioned to create about four hours worth of ballet music with a 2-month deadline.

Making this much orchestral music in such a small time frame the traditional way (the way everyone else I know does it) was not feasible.

So I set aside a week to put together an AI-accelerated, brutally efficient workflow so I could meet the deadline.

The upshot: my mockups can be created at a fraction of the cost of a traditional mockup, in a fraction of the time.

For the nerds out there, I use the Cinematic Studio Series (CCW, CSB, CSS, CSSS), Hollywood Opus, TrueStrike, and a few other libraries. I use an extremely powerful computer + the HOOPUS and CS NotePerformer playback engines to speed up production.

NOTE: as good as my libraries are, sampled performances don't always sound EXACTLY like real live performances
