Can you setup Let's Encrypt SSL certificate on cPanel and shared hosting?
Yes, but it HIGHLY depends on the hosting provider. Tested with Namecheap - it renews automatically. To setup Let's Encrypt on cPanel & shared hosting, shell access and Cron are needed on the account. Some restrictions or limitations from the hosting might prevent the setup. Please ask before order

An SSL/TLS certificate is using encryption (complex mathematics and functions) which guarantees that only the interested parties can read and edit the information being exchanged.
What is Let's Encrypt?
Let's Encrypt is a non-profit organization that issues free TLS certificates for the public that expire every 3 months. Why? Their goal is to keep the Internet a secure place. Initial work on the concept started in 2012 by two Mozilla employees.
What does an alias mean in the service tier relared to Let's Enctrypt?
Let's Encrypt and SSL/TLS certificates in general can have multiple domains in them in addition to the main domain. This does not require additional certificate setup and can be configured when the certificate is initially issued.
What is a wildcard SSL certificate?
TLS/SSL certificates are usually issued to exact domain names - example.com. A wildcard certificate is valid for all subdomains of a domain. A special setup (DNS-01 challenge) is required for Let's Encrypt. Not every hosting provider can support.
